1. Chiropractic Care
Spinal adjustments to restore optimal function of the spine and central nervous system which promotes overall health and wellness. Chiropractic care is also a very effective means of treating musculoskeletal injuries.
2. Acupuncture
A form of traditional Chinese medicine in which needles are inserted through the skin at specific points on the body. There is no injection of any substance and the treatment itself causes minimal discomfort. It is used to encourage natural healing, reduce or relieve pain and improve function of affected areas. It has been found to be helpful in the treatment of a broad range of conditions.
3. Orthotics
Your feet have a direct impact on the rest of your body. Like a foundation of a house, your feet support the weight of everything above them. Custom fit orthotics are designed specifically for each individual to help re-balance your feet, reducing pain and supporting the body’s natural movements. The symptoms of poor foot mechanics include: localized facet pain; arch pain; bunions; hammer toes; heel pain; leg / knee pain and hip / back / neck pain.
4. Compression Stockings
Compression stocking prescriptions can be filled at our clinic. Many people can benefit from wearing compression stockings including those who experience: swollen feet, ankles and legs; tired, aching fatigued legs; venous disorders; plantar fasciitis; and heel pain. Compression hosiery is also excellent for pregnant women; those who are overweight; or those who stand or sit for prolonged periods.
5. Bracing
We can order and provide both off the shelf or custom bracing for any body part. We are trained to prescribe an appropriate brace to help support or correct an injury or condition. We have access to many suppliers and can obtain the proper brace to aid in your recovery, or get you back in the game with the proper support.
6. Sports Injuries
We are trained to evaluate and treat most sports related injuries. Chiropractic is often used to improve muscle and joint conditioning which has a direct effect on athletic performance and injury prevention. Treatment works to improve biomechanical function and enhance overall conditioning, important in situations where there is continuous repetitive movement. Chiropractic care also helps athletes fine tune their muscles and joints for high level performance and may reduce long term wear and tear.
7. T.E.N.S. Units
We offer Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulators (or T.E.N.S.) for sale. Commonly called electric stim units, these units are small, portable devices used to reduce pain and discomfort associated with various conditions. Some insurance companies cover the cost of T.E.N.S. units.
8. Cervical Pillows
We carry orthopedic cervical pillows for the support of the normal curve in your neck while sleeping. These pillows support neutral posture in the neck, and can reduce neck pain, stiffness, headaches and promote better, more consistent sleep patterns. There are several different styles and sizes to choose from.
9. BioFreeze
It is a topical analgesic gel designed to reduce pain and discomfort associated with sore muscles, sprains, strains, bruises, simple back aches and arthritis. The formula has the smell of menthol, but is not overpowering and is not greasy. We carry several different sizes and containers. Samples are available for a trial run.
